Anand Jon gets 59 years in jail for Sex Crime – A Speculation
Anand Jon’s conviction, which made worldwide news headlines, is being posted under the category Entertainment. What a cruel irony.
Now, is he really guilty? Probably yes. But the nature of the industry he comes from is such that, probaby he was not the only one who had sex with those girls in promise of gigs and whatever else. It’s not like those apsiring models are pious, chaste, god-fearing, homely, innocent little girls. Maybe, only maybe, a rare few of them are, but the majority of them are as adventurous (if you know, what I mean) as they can get. Probably those girls were sleeping with 10 other guys like Jon at that time.
Why did they chose to accuse only Jon? Maybe because Jon was in the habit of breaking his promises, or maybe Jon pissed off some bigshots in the fashion industry? We will never know, but probably it was because of the former, or else he would have named some name by now. Being of Indian origin, it was even easier for the victims to confidently accuse Anand Jon, leveraging on the weakness of outsider image.
If it really was a rape, in one of the case, we are sorry about the victim. But one thing’s for sure, Jon was not the only one who sexually used them, there are probably 10 other people who did it too.
Lesson learnt: if you are playing a game of high risk, pay the price in cash or kind as promised, or you will land where you legally belong to.
