ISRO Bhuvan vs Google Earth, which is better?
As an observer-user of the Indian Subcontinent, Bhuwan definitely wins hands down. It has 20 times higher zoom level than Google Earth. Also the data in Bhuwan is updated every year, unlike Google Earth which updates its date once in four years.
But as a participatory user, Bhuvan is nowhere near Google. Google Earth is available as a downloadable software and lets you actively add markers on it, ISRO Bhuwan on the other hand is neither available as a download nor lets you add markers on it.
The conclusion is that neither is objectively better than the other. They are good in their own ways and neither can take the place of the other.
