ITANAGAR, Jan 31: Arunachal Pradesh Governor Gen (Retd) J J Singh extended greetings to all th people of Arunachal Pradesh on the auspicious occasion of Reh.
In a message, the Governor hopes that the festival evokes the blessing of Almighty and spreads the message of love, peace and communal harmony.
‘Festivals are the mirror of the cultural wealth of every community. They also serve as reminders of the rich heritage and traditional practices. The rituals, which include prayers and sacrifices are not only a medium to pay obeisance to our fore-fathers but also spread a feeling of oneness and brotherhood amongst the people of the community who gather together for the common celebrations of the festival’, the message said.
‘I would like to urge upon every member of the community to actively participate and display the cohesive bonding. On this auspicious occasion, I offer my prayers to Almighty to bless each one of us with his choicest blessing,’ the Governor said in his message.
