Sanjoy strongly condemns Rijiju’s letter to CEC

ITANAGAR, Apr 29: INC Candidate of 1-Arunachal West Parliamentary Constituency Takam Sanjoy strongly condemned the letter written to the Chief Election Commission, Nirvanchan Bhawan, New Delhi by Kiren Rijiju demanding re-poll of entire 3-Mukto and 18- Palin Assembly constituencies while alleging of booth capturing by use of guns and other weapons.

Sanjoy challenged the false and fabricated letter which aimed at undoing the loss already suffered by the BJP in the election.

The BJP has morally and practically accepted defeat before the counting of May 16, he added.

After the 16 May result, Rijiju would again demand repelling of entire 1-Arunachal West Parliamentary Constituency to mark another eye wash before the public, Sanjoy alleged.

He further said that this was the latest tactics of the BJP and demanded evidence to substantiate their claims.

Sanjoy also said that if BJP fails to provide any evidence, Congress would be forced to register a criminal case under section 420 and a case of defamation along with other relevant election laws.

He further questioned if Rijiju used guns and weapons when nine thousand plus voters registered at 3-Mukto Assembly Constituency voted for him in 2004 Parliamentary Elections.
